I ordered the pink and it's a pleasant petal pink. Not a strong bubble gum or a washed out pastel. The fabric is soft and the way that it drapes is very flattering. The chemise has darting to accomidate those of us who are busty. The shoulder straps aren't sewn down in the back; they're looped through holes so you can adjust them to exactly how you want them and then tie the ends together. Low on the back there are two more ties so you can synch up the waist or leave it out, depending on how hippy you are. This garment is definitely friendly for all shapes and sizes. The robe is a true wrap-around. There's an extra tie inside the robe so you won't have to worry about it flopping open and being a pain the butt. Typically speaking I'm a size 16 and ordered the 1x-2x and am very pleased. The shoulders are a little big for me, I'm only 5'1" so they'd probably be fine for someone who is taller.
Purchased this for the wife, the colour is fantastic and would appear to be exactly what the doctor ordered. We found the sizing a bit small and we returned it. Wife is 5'4", 150lbs, small C...these are real measurements, not the BS girls like to foist upon everyone). She's a size 10/12 and this was too small. Too bad, it looked kinda nice for what it was.


I was looking for a short purple robe and this worked perfectly. After reading the reviews I didn't expect much from the nightgown and so I wasn't as disappointed as some. The color is a rich purple and the satin is of a decent quality for the price. I will probably use the night gown fabric for some sewing project since it is completely useless. You'd have to be an octopus to tie the darn thing!
